Plants!

Last week we set up an experiment to find out what a plant needs to grow. As of Friday, we couldn't see any change in the plants, but this morning we found that they had grown a great A LOT! Check out these great pictures of our Lima bean plants!

Lots of Landforms!

This past week we learned about the seven continents and four oceans! This week those words will be part of our new vocabulary list, and you'll take a test on the words Friday, along with some words from "Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing". You'll need to know where each of the continents and oceans are, as well as some of the key features of the continents that we learned about on Friday, such as the continent with the tallest mountains or the one with the most rainfall. To help you practice, I've created a review quiz! This isn't for a grade, just something to help you study!

This week in social studies, we'll be learning about landforms and bodies of water that are found all over the world. For an extra $10 in bonus money, bring in a list of FIVE or more landforms that you find in the picture above!

Check out the awesome pics of Darth Sofferin, his crew of Stormtroopers, his captive princesses, and his nemesis, Master Yoda!

Now, check out all of these incredible costumes and posters from some of the other classes! See any books or movies that you know?
