Field Day (The event formerly known as Play Day) was this morning and we had a blast! Fortunately, it wasn't too hot yet, and the weather outside was absolutely beautiful!
Big thanks to Coach Dudjak and PTA for a phenomenal Field Day! And now, a whole ton of pictures!
We
were victorious in Tug-of-War and several other competitions! But where
we shined the brightest was in SPORTSMANSHIP! In any game,
competition, or athletic event, the absolutely most important thing is
SPORTSMANSHIP. Winning is super, but if you're not a good sport, you've
already lost. Whenever you're at a sporting event or any other
competition, cheer and congratulate the teams when they are successful,
even if they're not "your" team. And also congratulate the team that
lost for trying their best (unless they showed poor sportsmanship, in
which case they don't deserve your congratulations).
