Election Day

Tonight is the final day of the Election 2012!  It's like the Super-Bowl of the election!  For homework, fill in the Electoral College map with red for states that Mitt Romney wins and blue for states that Barack Obama wins.  If you have to go to bed before all the results are in, you can check in the morning.

A good website to look at is Politico.com.  They will have live updates as the results come in.  You can also check that page in the morning to get any results that you missed. 

Water Cycle 2012

In third grade, we made our very first rap music video, but the filming was done on a very lousy camera which was all I had access to at the time.  This week, after finishing a unit on weather and the water cycle, we created a brand-new version using an HD camera and some green screen special effects.  The version I'm posting here doesn't look HD because Blogger won't let me upload HD videos, but you'll get to see the full HD version in class, and of course on the DVD yearbook.

Long Line at Early Voting

I just got back from voting for the Presidential Election! The line took over an hour to get through. Up towards the front of the line were these two traffic cones. Apparently, they thought that it would take 20 minutes to go five feet.
