Fun Run!

The Boosterthon Fun Run was a blast today! Thanks to the Boosterthon Team - the Evanator and Obi-Sean Kenobi, as well as to Dalton's mom, Chloe's grandparents, Blaine's dad, Kenniah's mom, and Amber's mom for joining us today! Last Day for Pledges!

Today is the last day for Pledges in the Boosterthon Fun Run!  Right now our class is leading the whole school in number of pledges!  Let's maintain the lead and get even more tonight!  We're also only one dollar away from our $50 class incentive!  

Tomorrow is the Fun Run!  Parents are welcomed to come and watch the event and cheer on their children!  Fun Run for fifth grade will be from 11:30 to 12:30.

Boosterthon Fun Run

The Boosterthon Fun Run kicked off today with a thrilling pep rally and I am super excited about this year’s program. Our team name is Sofferin's Superstars!

 

The Boosterthon Fun Run program involves all students in a fun, team building, fitness event.  The central focus of this year’s character program is CHOICES. On the road of life, there are a lot of choices to make. This year’s character theme is HIGHWAY USA and the Booster Team will take students on a fun-filled journey teaching them the importance of making the choices that count.

 

Through the Boosterthon, our entire school is raising much needed funds for playground enhancements for the school.  My goal for our class is to raise $30/Pledged Per Lap.  (Remember each student will be able to run 25-35 laps on the Boosterthon Fun Run Track!)

 

Here’s how you can help:

 

1) LOG-ON to your student’s website at www.FunRun.com using your student’s Pledge Book and access code.  Log on each night to watch the Highway USA music videos, and enter pledge information.

2)  GET PLEDGES by connecting your student with 10 sponsors.

3) COME TO THE BOOSTERTHON FUN RUN NEXT WEEK! Remember, students will be running 25-35 laps and we would love to have lots of support for our team!
