A Bunch of Wild Animals (and Zoo Animals Too!)

We had a blast today at the Jacksonville Zoo!  There was so much to see, we didn't quite get to see everything we wanted to, but what we did see was a lot of fun! 

Lunch and a Movie

Mark your calendar for two weeks from tomorrow - Saturday, May 25th!  Sofferin's Superstars along with their parents and families are invited for a lunch out at Osaka Grill located at 11701 San Jose Blvd at 1:00 PM.  Then, we'll be going to a movie together at Regal The Avenues Theater.  

Starting next Friday, students will be competing in a week-long competition - The Knowledge-Bowl - to see who has accumulated the most knowledge over the course of the year!  The winner of this intense competition will have their lunch and movie on me!  They'll also earn a custom-made trophy and the bragging rights of being the most knowledgeable in the class!

Klea is the reigning champion, having won TWO years in a row.  

Can ANYONE finally dethrone Klea?  Or will she be finish her reign as the ultimate Superstar champion?  Either way, win or lose, the Knowledge-Bowl is a blast and a great way to recap of everything we've learned and done over fifth grade.  And either way, EVERYONE gets to come to our end-of-year lunch out! 

Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra

Thursday was our field trip to the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra. The symphony put on a terrific show and our own ORFF ensemble got to play with the orchestra!
