Former Superstar Jessica!

Another former Superstar stopped by to visit this afternoon. Although she doesn't look it, Jessica is actually 17 already! She was in my fourth and fifth grade class 6 years ago! All these former students visiting lately are making me feel old!

Alexis Pays a Visit

Former three-year Superstar, Alexis, stopped by to see me today after school.  She's in seventh grade now, and I was ecstatic (word of the day) to learn that she is in all honors classes and is excelling!  She's also been smart enough to steer clear of all the middle school "drama".  I'm so proud of Alexis for continuing to be a Superstar even after Beauclerc.

Fun Run

The Fun Run was loads of fun this afternoon.  Big thanks to PTA and Mr. Z for putting on a wonderful event!  And thanks also to Mrs. Stark for taking lots of great pictures while I ran with the class.

Fun Run

Fun Run is tomorrow!  Make sure to wear gym shoes, your Beauclerc shirt, and shorts!  For parents who want to join us, our Fun Run begins at 1:50!

Forum with Dr. Vitti

Next Monday, October 20th, Beauclerc will be hosting an open forum with our school superintendent, Dr. Vitti. He will answer questions and address concerns that parents and students have about the direction of the school and the district as a whole. If you have any questions you can submit them in advance of the meeting, anonymously if you like, in a box in the front office. I encourage all parents to attend this event and share with Dr. Vitti and questions or concerns that you may have. Look in your child's planner this afternoon for a more detailed letter from PTA about this event. I look forward to seeing a lot of you there to represent our class.

Beauclerc Fun Run

The Fun Run kicked off this morning at Beauclerc! Over the next two weeks, students can collect money from family members and friends to help support their school. All students will participate in the Fun Run on October 23rd, no matter what. Students who collect money can earn prizes, including a raffle for two tickets to Universal Studios! Check out the Fun Run packet in your child's Friday Folder for more info.
