Over the last couple of days, the kids have been showing their love for Ms. Harris, filling the board with their sentiments. It's been good for them to express the things they love about Ms. Harris. I'm preserving their tribute on the blog so that it will be here forever!
Ms. Wood and I helped collect Ms. Harris's personal pictures and stuff to be delivered to her family. It'll be good for the Spill family to go through Ms. Harris's things and see just how much her kids loved her. But I'm preserving these on the blog as well!

Dear Mr. Sofferin and Students of Ms. Harris.
I am Diane Spill, Ms. Harris's sister-in law. I first met Ms. Harris when we were in high school in 1974. We became fast friends. She was funny, kind and genuine. She always loved school, I was not surprised to hear she as going to college to become a teacher. I knew she would be a great one. And she was.
Thank you so much for the lovely tribute. The comments you all wrote on the board are so lovely.
I am glad I came back today to see the blog. It was a nice surprise to see you are working on a quilt.
