Klea - The two-time undefeated champion was the only girl to compete today, and had to climb her way up from the bottom after an unsuccessful first round!
Tommy - He was in the top six most of the week, but was knocked out by Klea and others. On the fifth day, however, he got his spot back after being the master of social studies topics all week!
Justice - He managed to stay in the top six all week, as he has the past two years as well!
Darius - Who spent the most time at the top of the list over the past week! He had his choice of who to pick for his teammate and chose to go with the two-time champion of course!
It was a VERY tight match the whole time, each team only a few hundred points from each other. Our final two were Jalaal and Blaine, who just narrowly beat out Klea and Darius.
Jalaal was the ONLY person in the top six who was brand new to the class this year, and he proved he deserved the spot by answering a ton of questions today and by staying in the top six all week.
But ultimately the winner was Blaine DuBois, who fought very competitively and aggressively all week long. Congrats to all six of the finalists, but especially to Blaine and Jalaal!
