Holiday Festivities!

We have a ton of fun activities coming up over the next two weeks! Here's a quick run down: Holiday Store - Monday through Thursday this week students can bring in money to shop for family members and friends at the PTA holiday store! There are loads of really nice gifts, most priced at six dollars or less. This is a great opportunity for kids to shop for their parents and siblings without their parents around to see what they're buying them! In order to shop at the store, students must bring their money in the envelope provided to them last Friday. Winter Concert - Thursday, December 11th! This Thursday, our chorus and ORFF students will be performing a holiday concert at 7:00 PM! Pictures with Santa & Frosty - Tuesday, December 16th kids can get their pictures taken with Santa and Frosty! Gingerbread Houses - Wednesday, December 17th we'll be making Gingerbread Houses! I am asking for every student to bring in a package of candy to share among the class to use for decorating the gingerbread houses. If anyone would like to help out by sending in a box of graham crackers as well, that would be much appreciated. Please send in the candy by Monday, December 15th. Pajama Day - Thursday, December 18th students are encouraged to wear their PJs to school. In the morning we will be enjoying a movie and hot chocolate. Holiday Party - Thursday, December 18th - Class luncheon at 12:00 PM. Mrs. Gates and Mrs. Brown will be providing the turkey. We are asking that each parent send in a side dish or dessert for the luncheon. We will also be having our annual Gift Swap after the luncheon, which is always my personal favorite part of the party!! ;)
