We had a blast today with Twin Day, Snow Day, and Cultural Arts Day all rolled into one!
Here are some of Sofferin's Superstars dressed as twins!

Our Flag Raising Ceremony was the best ever! We had a lot of surprise visitors!
Starting with the Wolfson High School marching band! They rocked with a great Jackson 5 performance.

Here are some more twins!
Then Mrs. Lamb, our Teacher of the Year, and J.J., our school mascot rode in!

They were followed by the Dupont Dragon!
Wolfson also brought their great cheerleading team!

All three schools in one - the Dupont Dragon conducts the Wolfson Marching Band at Beauclerc Elementary!

Even more twins!

Jasmine and Destiny even brought matching jackets!
After the Flag Raising, we got to play in "snow". Not quite what real snow is like, but it was still a blast!

Max desperately tries to build a snow man out of icy slush.

The kids were soaking wet after playing in the snow!
Then we went to the cafeteria and learned how to draw cartoon turtles! This was fun! Kids can earn bonus money if they finish their pictures (with full color!) and bring them back tomorrow!

Then we had a picnic on the field and listened to great music from DJ Runs-a-lot!

After lunch we got to enjoy the comedy antics of "Healthy Herb!"

Mackenzie got to go up on stage! Doesn't she look excited!? This picture defines Mackenzie in a nutshell!

Finally, we were treated with an original play based on the poem, "Casey at the Bat".

It was a great, but very tiring day! We had a blast! Thanks to our wonderful PTA for hosting all this wonderful stuff!
Don't forget tomorrow is STUFFED ANIMAL DAY! Everyone needs to bring a stuffed animal! So far, Mr. Sofferin's class has had 100% participation all four days this week! We just need one more 100% to earn snow cones for the class tomorrow!

The snow was terrible- either you stood there doing nothing or you got pelted repeatedly in the head with giant chunks of ice. The definition of fun.
