According to new district policy, for the safety of all the children in the school, ALL parents who want to come into the school during school hours must register online as a school volunteer.
Whether for field trips, school events, parties, lunch with your child, or any other event during school hours, you MUST be registered in order to enter the building. Parents who show up to the school without having registered will not be permitted to enter. Again, this is to ensure the safety of all the children in the school.
To register is easy and only takes a few minutes. Follow these simple directions:
Go to duvalschools.org
Mouse over "community".
Click on "volunteer information".
Click on "Apply to be a volunteer online".
Read the information and click on "Get Started".
Follow the directions that follow and fill out any information that is required.
It is best to get this done right away so you don't have to worry about it again at any point in the year.
